Travel
First overseas experience: A month living in Israel in 1998. This was supposed to be a year of high school, but circumstances abroad and at home made returning home the better option.
Caribbean cruises: From 2002-2004, I went on 3 Caribbean cruises with my family. Royal Caribbean twice, Carnival once.
Hosteling: My first experience backpacking/hosteling was two months in Europe in 2004, covering Western Europe, including the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria and the Netherlands.
In 2006, I spent a month in Southeast Asia: Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and The Philippines.
TEFL: Summer 2007 was my first time teaching English abroad, in Italy. After my teaching position, I traveled in Europe again, mostly in Eastern Europe.
Further travels and TEFL: I traveled to Hawaii, Australia and more of Asia during late 2007 and early 2008. This trip included teaching English at immersion camps in Taiwan.
From December 2007-September 2008, I was in every continents except Antarctica.
In Summer 2008, I returned to Europe, teaching English in France, then traveling in Northwest Europe. After this trip, I began teaching business English in Santiago, Chile from September 2008-February 2009.
I returned to teach English in France in 2009 and 2010, both in English immersion camps and as an English language assistant in the French public schools.
Before, during and after, I traveled throughout Europe and into the Middle East.
Currently, I have been to over 70 countries at a total of over a third of the countries in the world, including every country in Europe.

I graduated with double degrees (Bachelor in Arts, English with a Literature Emphasis and Bachelor in Arts, Drama) at age 18.
